Premosan Tablets 20's

Premosan is an antiemetic medication containing 10 mg of metoclopramide, used to treat nausea and vomiting.

Active Ingredient

Metoclopramide 10mg.

Dosage and Administration

• 10 to 15 mg four times daily (30 minutes before meals and at bedtime).
• The maximum daily dose: 60 mg.
• Doses may be adjusted in certain cases, always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
• If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's time for the next dose.
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Indications

• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) for 4 to 12 weeks in adults who have not responded to conventional treatment.
• Relief of symptoms in adults with acute and recurrent diabetic gastroparesis.

Contraindications

• If you are allergic to metoclopramide or any other ingredient in the medication.
• If you have a blockage in the intestines or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Side Effects

• High blood pressure.
• Fluid retention.
• Hyperprolactinemia.
• Impaired ability to drive or operate machinery.

Warnings

• Use with caution if you have kidney or liver problems.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy after taking the medication.

Storage

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
