Premosan Tablets 20's
Premosan is an antiemetic medication containing 10 mg of metoclopramide, used to treat nausea and vomiting.
Active Ingredient
Metoclopramide 10mg.
Dosage and Administration
- 10 to 15 mg four times daily (30 minutes before meals and at bedtime).
- The maximum daily dose: 60 mg.
- Doses may be adjusted in certain cases, always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
- If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's time for the next dose.
- Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
Indications
- Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) for 4 to 12 weeks in adults who have not responded to conventional treatment.
- Relief of symptoms in adults with acute and recurrent diabetic gastroparesis.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to metoclopramide or any other ingredient in the medication.
- If you have a blockage in the intestines or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Side Effects
- High blood pressure.
- Fluid retention.
- Hyperprolactinemia.
- Impaired ability to drive or operate machinery.
Warnings
- Use with caution if you have kidney or liver problems.
- Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy after taking the medication.
Storage
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
