FML 1% Eye Drop 5 ML is an ophthalmic suspension containing Fluorometholone 0.1%, used to reduce irritation and swelling associated with eye inflammation. This anti-inflammatory medication is applied topically under medical supervision. The 5 ml bottle is suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age, as directed by a healthcare provider.

Components

• Fluorometholone 0.1%: An ophthalmic corticosteroid to relieve inflammation.
• Benzalkonium Chloride: A preservative that may affect soft contact lenses.

Therapeutic Indications

• Treatment of eye inflammation and reduction of swelling caused by allergies or irritation.

Method of Administration

1. Use FML 1% Eye Drop 5 ML only under your doctor's supervision.
2. The usual recommended dose is 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) 2-4 times daily.
3. Tilt your head back, look up, gently pull the lower eyelid down, and instill the drops. Close your eye and apply pressure to the inside corner for 30 seconds.
4. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose; do not take a double dose.
5. Wait 15 minutes before reinserting soft contact lenses after use.

Warnings & Precautions

• Allergy: Do not use FML 1% Eye Drop 5 ML if you are allergic to Fluorometholone or its components.
• Infections: Avoid use in cases of viral, fungal, severe bacterial eye infections, or ocular tuberculosis.

Storage Conditions

• Store FML 1% Eye Drop 5 ML at room temperature below 25°C (77°F); do not freeze.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date on the package, which refers to the last day of the month.
• Drops are safe for 28 days after opening; use beyond this may cause bacterial contamination and eye damage.
