Donifoxate 80 mg 30 Tablets

Donifoxate is a medication containing febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, used to manage chronic hyperuricemia in gout patients and prevent tumor lysis syndrome in leukemia patients undergoing chemotherapy. It comes in a pack of 30 tablets.

How to Use

  3. Tumor Lysis Syndrome: 120 mg once daily for 7–9 days, or 60 mg once daily for 6–14 days, starting 2 days or 24 hours before chemotherapy.
  4. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food.
  5. Use NSAIDs or colchicine at treatment start for up to 6 months to prevent symptom flares.
  6. If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to a hospital immediately.
  7. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless it’s near the next dose.
  8. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
