How to Use

  1. Follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions precisely when using Avalon Prila 5% Topical Anesthetic Cream.
  2. For Adults and Adolescents (12+ Years):
    • Skin: For minor procedures (e.g., needle insertion or localized lesion surgery): Apply 2g (half a 5g tube) or approx. 1.5g/10 cm² for 1-5 hours.
    • Large Skin Areas: (e.g., laser hair removal): Maximum dose: 60g over 600 cm² for 1-5 hours.
    • Male Genital Skin: Before local anesthetic injection: 1g/10 cm² for 15 minutes.
    • Female Genital Skin: Before local anesthetic injection: 1-2g/10 cm² for 60 minutes.
    • Genital Mucosa: For localized lesion treatment (e.g., genital wart removal): 5-10g for 5-10 minutes.
    • Leg Ulcers: For mechanical cleansing: 1-2g/10 cm², up to 10g total, for 30-60 minutes.
  3. For Pediatric Patients (0-11 Years):
    • Newborns and Infants (0-2 Months): Up to 1g and 10 cm² for 1 hour.
    • Infants (3-11 Months): Up to 2g and 20 cm² for 1 hour.
    • Children (1-5 Years): Up to 10g and 100 cm² for 1-5 hours.

    • Children with Atopic Dermatitis: Application time: 30 minutes.

Warnings and Precautions
