Movicol is a medicine used to treat chronic and acute constipation in adults, adolescents and the elderly. Movicol sachets are not recommended for children under 12 years of age.Indications of use:- Treatment of chronic constipation.- Treatment of constipation after surgery.- Pre-preparation for laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgeries.How to use:- This medicine can be taken at any time with or without food.- Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 125 ml (1/4 liter) of water and drink it in cases of constipation.- The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years: one sachet 3-4 times daily.- The amount of dose, number of times and duration of treatment will be determined according to the disease condition and the symptom response to the medicine.- The duration of treatment may be up to 3-4 days in cases of severe constipation.- If you forget to take a dose of Movicol Sachets: take it as soon as you remember. If the medication has dissolved and you cannot drink it right away, keep it covered in the refrigerator (2-8 ° C). Dispose of any unused solution within 6 hours.
