Method Of Administration Of Glucare 500 Mg Tablets

The dosage of Metformin is determined by the doctor based on laboratory blood glucose measurement results. Adults usually start with 500 mg or 850 mg metformin hydrochloride 2 or 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 3000 mg taken as 3 divided doses.

Undesirable Side Effects Of Glucare 500 Mg Tablets

• Gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite, especially at the beginning of treatment.
• Taste disturbance.
• Lactic acidosis, a very serious complication, resulting in vomiting, abdominal pain with muscle cramps, and/or a general feeling of malaise with severe fatigue.
• Skin reactions such as erythema (red skin), itching, or urticaria (eruption with itching).
• Decreased vitamin B12 levels.
