Pic Classic Waterproof Large (wide) plasters provide an excellent solution for longitudinal wounds requiring extra coverage. With a width of 25mm, these dressings are formulated to support securing cut wounds better, and their antibacterial pad provides continuous protection preventing wound contamination and accelerating the healing process.

What are the uses of Pic Classic 25x72 mm Plaster?

  • Covering and protecting longitudinal wounds and broad abrasions not covered by the standard size.
  • Securing wounds in areas prone to friction like the forearm or leg.
  • Water resistance to protect the wound from getting wet during showering and daily activities.

Benefits & Features

  • Wide size (25 mm) provides a larger adhesive area to ensure the dressing stays in place longer.
  • Pad treated with antimicrobial substances to continuously disinfect the wound.
  • Outer film is waterproof and breathable to avoid moisture trapping.
  • Reduces the chances of scarring by maintaining a clean healing environment.

How to Use

  • Disinfect the wound area and dry it completely.
  • Remove the individual wrapper and protective paper from the plaster.
  • Place the pad over the wide wound, then run your fingers over the adhesive strip to ensure it sticks firmly to the surrounding skin.

  • Replace the plaster immediately if it tears or if the pad becomes saturated with exudate.
  • Store out of reach of children and at room temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this size suitable for surgical wounds?
This size is intended for broad superficial scrapes and cuts. For surgical wounds, it is preferred to use Pic's large square or rectangular dressings (like 10x8 cm or larger) for optimal coverage.
Does the wide adhesive cause pain upon removal?
The adhesive is strong to provide stability, but designed to be gentle on the skin. For easier removal, pull the strip slowly and parallel to the skin surface.
Can it be used on bleeding wounds?
It is preferred to stop active bleeding first by applying pressure with a clean gauze pad, then apply the plaster to protect the wound after the bleeding stops.

For optimal use, read the instructions included in the package.
