Farinox Enoxaparin 4000 IU (40 mg/0.4 ml) – 2 Prefilled Syringes
Farinox contains enoxaparin sodium, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used to prevent and treat blood clots in various medical conditions.
Indications
- Treats blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Prevents clot formation before and after surgery or during periods of reduced mobility
- Used in patients with unstable angina or post-heart attack
- Prevents clotting in dialysis machine tubing
How to Use
Given subcutaneously by a healthcare provider, or self-injected after proper training. Do not inject into a muscle.
Warnings and Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to enoxaparin or other heparins
- Avoid use in active bleeding or recent brain/eye surgery
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart conditions, or high blood pressure
Drug Interactions
Inform your doctor if you're using:
- Blood thinners like warfarin or aspirin
- NSAIDs like ibuprofen, diclofenac
- Potassium-elevating drugs or diuretics
Possible Side Effects
- Bleeding, which may be internal or external
- Dizziness, extreme tiredness, or swelling
- Severe allergic reactions: breathing difficulty, facial swelling
Storage
Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. Single-use syringe – discard after use. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after expiry date.
