Dermofucin 2% Cream for Bacterial Skin Infections – 15 g
Dermofucin contains 2% fusidic acid, a topical antibiotic effective against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus, used to treat various bacterial skin infections.
Indications:
- Boils and abscesses.
- Impetigo and infected dermatitis.
- Infected wounds, burns, and skin graft sites.
- Folliculitis, hidradenitis, and other localized bacterial infections.
How to Use:
- Clean and dry the affected area before application.
- Apply a thin layer of cream 2–3 times daily until infection clears.
- Treatment duration typically ranges from 7 to 14 days based on clinical judgment.
Possible Side Effects:
- Minor local irritation, mild burning or itching sensation.
- Rare allergic rash or hypersensitivity reaction.
Warnings & Precautions:
- Not for use on mucous membranes or near eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Avoid application on large open wounds without medical supervision.
