Dapazin 10 mg Dapagliflozin – 30 Tablets

Dapazin contains 10 mg of dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It also reduces the risk of hospitalization for heart failure and progression of chronic kidney disease.

Indications:

• As an adjunct to diet and exercise in type 2 diabetes management.
• To lower the risk of heart failure hospitalization in patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
• To reduce the risk of kidney disease progression and cardiovascular death in chronic kidney disease.

How to Use:

• Take one tablet (10 mg) once daily at the same time, with or without food.
• The dose may be initiated at 5 mg and increased to 10 mg if needed.
• Recommended duration may be long-term depending on clinical assessment.

Possible Side Effects:

• Frequent urination, dehydration, urinary tract or genital infections.
• Possibility of low blood pressure or dizziness, especially in elderly or on diuretics.
• Rare risk of euglycemic diabetic ketoacidosis.
• Possible skin or soft tissue infections in rare cases.

Warnings:

• Not for use in type 1 diabetes or ketoacidosis without supervision.
• Caution in renal impairment; dose adjustment required if eGFR <45 mL/min.
• Regular monitoring of blood glucose, ketones, and kidney function advised.
• Do not discontinue treatment abruptly without medical advice.
