Claritt XL 500 mg Extended Release Tablets – 7 Tablets
Claritt XL contains 500 mg of clarithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively stopping the growth of bacteria. This extended-release formulation allows for prolonged therapeutic coverage against infections.
Indications:
- Throat infections (pharyngitis/tonsillitis)
- Respiratory tract infections: sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia
- Uncomplicated skin infections
- Mycobacterial infections
- H. pylori infections (with combination therapy)
- Middle ear infections in children
How to Use:
- Take as prescribed by your doctor.
- Usual adult dose: 500 mg once daily, depending on infection severity.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it’s nearly time for your next dose.
Possible Side Effects:
- Nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea
