- Azar contains the active substance (Losartan) and is used to treat high blood pressure, and helps protect the kidneys from damage caused by diabetes. It is also used to reduce the risk of strokes in patients with high blood pressure, and in cases of enlarged heart, lowering blood pressure protects against strokes, Heart attacks and kidney problems- Azar (Losartan) belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers or ARBs, and it relaxes the blood vessels, and thus the blood can flow easily through them.Warnings:- You should tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are allergic to it, or any other type of allergy. The product may contain inactive ingredients that can cause allergies or some other problem.- You must tell the doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially if you suffer from liver disease, severe dehydration (severe loss of water and minerals).- The medicine causes dizziness, so there is no need to drive, use machines, or any other activities that require alertness in order to make sure that it can be done safely, and you must limit alcohol consumption.- The medicine may increase the levels of potassium in the blood, so you should consult your doctor before using any medicines or supplements containing potassium.
