Description
Althera is a hypoallergenic, whey-based formula that has been extensively hydrolyzed to manage symptoms of cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA). It is nutritionally complete and suitable as a sole source of nutrition from birth, or as a supplementary feeding option from 6 months of age. The formula contains lactose, 2'FL, and LNnT to support the developing immune systems of infants, and is enriched with LCPUFAs (DHA & ARA) to support normal growth and development.

Ingredients
Lactose, Maltodextrin, high oleic sunflower oil, extensively hydrolyzed whey protein, low erucic acid rapeseed oil, coconut oil, citric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides (emulsifier), calcium glycerophosphate, 2`-Fucosyllactose, citric acid (antioxidant), potassium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium chloride, Lacto-N-neotetraose, magnesium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, Mortierella alpina oil (ARA), Schizochytrium sp. oil (DHA), sodium ascorbate, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, choline bitartrate, inositol, taurine, L-histidine, potassium chloride, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, L-carnitine, L-arginine, mixed tocopherol concentrate, niacinamide, L-ascorbyl palmitate, calcium D-pantothenate, riboflavin, copper sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide, folic acid, phytomenadione, D-biotin, sodium selenate, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamine.
Directions for Use
- Wash your hands before preparing the formula.
- Thoroughly wash the bottle, teat, and cap to remove any remaining milk.
- Boil these items for five minutes and keep them covered until use.
- Boil drinking water for five minutes and allow it to cool.
- Refer to the feeding table and pour the exact amount of lukewarm water into the bottle.
- Add the exact number of leveled scoops of formula powder according to the age of the baby.
- Cap the bottle and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved.
- Close the tin tightly after each use and store it in a cool, dry place. Use within 3 weeks of opening.
Warnings and Precautions
Unboiled water, unboiled bottles, or incorrect dilution can make your baby ill. Improper storage, handling, preparation, and feeding can potentially lead to adverse effects on your baby's health.
Warning: Only prepare one bottle at a time. Feed immediately and follow the instructions exactly. Do not keep unfinished bottle contents; discard them. Always hold your baby while feeding. Leaving the baby unattended may cause choking.
Important Notice: Breast milk is best for babies. Consult your healthcare professional before deciding to use this formula. Use under medical supervision.
Do not change proportions. Use only the enclosed scoop. Using more or less powder than indicated will either lead to dehydration or deprive your baby of proper nutrition.
Do not introduce other foods into your baby's diet without consulting your doctor. Store in a cool, dry place and use within 3 weeks of opening the tin.
