Emidol contains the active ingredient Paracetamol at a concentration of 500 mg, used for pain relief and fever reduction.
What is Paracetamol and what is it used for:
Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever.
Therapeutic Indications of Emidol:
- Relief of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches, and muscle aches.
- Reduction of fever associated with colds and flu.
- Relief of menstrual pain.
Method of Administration of Emidol:
Emidol should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose for adults is 500 mg to 1 gram (1 to 2 tablets) every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 4 grams (8 tablets) per day.
Possible Side Effects:
- Allergic reactions such as rash or itching.
- Liver problems with excessive or long-term use.
- Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea or vomiting.
Warnings and Precautions:
- Do not use Emidol if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of its components.
