Co-Olmepress 20/12.5 Mg – 28 Tablets
Co-Olmepress combines Olmesartan (20 mg) and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg) to manage high blood pressure when monotherapy is insufficient.
Description
Olmesartan is an ARB that works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that reduces fluid volume and lowers blood pressure by increasing urine output.
How to Use
- Take one tablet daily with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
- Swallow with a full glass of water.
- Do not stop taking the medication unless advised by your doctor.
Side Effects
- Dizziness, headache, fatigue, stomach discomfort, urinary tract infections, back or joint pain.
- Blood test changes: increased potassium, uric acid, glucose, or liver enzymes.
- In rare cases: allergic reactions, blurred vision, low sodium or magnesium levels.

- Inform your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
- Discuss all other medications you are taking to avoid interactions.
- Dose adjustments may be needed in patients with kidney or liver issues.

- Maintain a healthy weight and follow a low-sodium diet.
- Exercise regularly and quit smoking.
- Monitor your blood pressure at home using a reliable monitor.
