Antiviral oral suspension containing acyclovir to help treat herpes infections, chickenpox, and shingles as prescribed.
Each 5 mL provides acyclovir 200 mg.

Indications
- Treatment of chickenpox.
- Treatment of shingles (herpes zoster)—early start is preferred.
- Treatment of herpes simplex infections (e.g., cold sores, genital herpes) and suppression of recurrences as directed.
- Prophylaxis of herpes infections in people with reduced immunity as prescribed.
Notable Excipients
- Contains sorbitol (may be unsuitable for hereditary fructose intolerance).
- Contains methyl paraben and propyl paraben (may cause allergic reactions in some people).
