Domassel is a medication containing ticagrelor, an antiplatelet agent (P2Y12 inhibitor), used to prevent atherothrombotic events in adults with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), including unstable angina, non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), or ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). It is typically used with low-dose aspirin. It comes in a pack of 60 tablets.


Active Ingredients and Mechanism of Action

  • Ticagrelor (90 mg): Blocks P2Y12 ADP receptors on platelets, preventing activation of the GPIIb/IIIa complex, reducing platelet aggregation and thrombus formation.
